In 1996, Canine Clips Grooming and Boarding opened its doors at 38 Rainbow Dr. in Crawfordville. After 12 years in our small building, we have finally moved to our New Salon and Boarding Facility located at 46 Glover Lane, Crawfordville.We will be celebrating the move with an Open House on March 29th, between 12:00p.m.and 3:00p.m.
The new location features a full service Grooming Salon, using the latest in grooming and safety equipment. We now have three experienced Pet Stylists to help serve the counties growing demand for our professional grooming and bathing services. A separate, Boarding Facility, is complete with fourteen indoor/outdoor, climate controlled runs, a special six run small dog room for our tiny guests and seven grassy, tree shaded play yards.
The owner, Carla Maynor has been planning and designing the new Facility for almost three years, with careful selection of materials, and safety features. Her goal was to have a facility that is comfortable, clean and secure for the animals, yet small enough to give personal attention to each pet during its visit. She believes that people need to feel that their pets are being given the best care while they are away.
Many extra features have been incorporated into the design, including a dual climate control system. All indoor runs feature USDA approved wall and gate materials, for safety and ease of cleaning (no chain link inside). The entire complex has six foot privacy fencing, the large dog play yards also have six foot fencing and are separate from the small dog yards. Inside the dogs have sleeping platforms or cozy beds to snuggle into and plenty of natural lighting. The outside runs are covered, so they can be used regardless of weather conditions.
