Carla has been in the grooming and boarding business for over 13 years. Volunteer work for the local Animal Shelter inspired her desire to pursue a career working with animals. She is a member of CHAT, rescue coordinator for the Tallahassee Area Shetland Sheepdog Assoc. and active with several rescue groups.
Carla has been a dog obedience instructor, helps with the local dog show, and is a member of The American Boarding Kennel Assoc. As Owner of Canine Clips, she believes in continuing education, for herself and staff, and commitment to the community.
Carla moved to Crawfordville with her parents, Richard and Marjorie Myers, and family in 1969, attended Wakulla High, FSU, and Lively Vo-tech. She and husband Bobby Maynor, have a son and twin daughters attending TCC. Her oldest daughter is married, living in Atlanta. The family has 7 dogs, three horses, and a cat.
